"FLIMMERN" is a short film about a kidnapper, who is actually quite a nice guy, and his victim, a young woman. It deals with their relationship under unusual circumstances.
The 10 minute project will be produced for my thesis. Beside great actors, great scenery and a great crew, its possible to use the Red One. Alltogether, we are able to create a cinematic experience.

What is this project all about?
"FLIMMERN" is planned as a 10 minute long short film and is thriller oriented.
It tells the story of Sarah, a young woman who ends after a nice evening in the kitchen of Albert for another drink. Suddenly she finds herself tied up in an attic. Bit by bit she explores, that Albert is quite a normal guy whose sister is heavily injured and needs an organ transplantation. Sarah, however, has the right blood type ...
The film deals with the relationship between victim and kidnapper and how they deal with their situation. And then suddenly, everything changes.
I wrote the story myself and the production and post production is part of my thesis for the BA Digital Media.
What are the aims and who is this project for?
The aim of this project is mainly to create a short film with everything around it. Which is pre production, planning and casting, the actual production and furthermore editing and post.
It allows me to gain a lot of experiences in film production and working with the RED camera.
The film will be sent to festivals after finishing in february.
Why should you support this project?
Even a no budget project eats some money.
In the process of filming on set there came costs for catering, travelling of the actors, hard disks for the backups and last but not least electricity and phone calls.
This project is my first step into the crowd funding community and it would be great if it ends with success. Then the costs for the whole film are backfinanced, as in the moment I am paying it myself.
A success would also make the submission to festivals a lot easier for me.
What will we do with the fundings?
If the amount or 450 euro is funded, when the project ends, the film could be produced cost-neutral. This is a huge help to me.
I can give the rewards for all supporters a nice packaging.
Any of the over funded money goes to the brilliant actors.
